Wrecking ball by p dangelico5/20/2023 Zapata released her book over a year and half before Dangelico. They were so similar that I actually looked up each books release date to see if they were released at the same time and if it happened to be coincidental or if inspiration came from one another. While the book was beautifully written and entertaining, it was almost an exact replica of The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata. Cal, which Cam refers to as “Shrek” is quiet, broody, and plain rude at the beginning, but considering it is a romance book, you can assume he doesn’t end up that way ). Cam is strong and caring despite all the problems and hardships she has had over the past few years. This was a very sweet, slow burn romance. And he doesn’t know what’s worse, that he promised to be civil, or that he’s attracted to her.īest laid plans are going to get wrecked when a reclusive football star is forced to live with a reluctant nanny. Problem is, the woman living in his house is a major distraction. What he needs to do is focus on winning another Super Bowl before he retires. He just doesn’t want anything to do with them. NFL quarterback Calvin Shaw has zero interest in women. Now all she has to do is find a way to ignore him for the next three months. So when salvation comes in the form of one intolerable jerk, she has no choice but to accept his offer as a nanny for his eight year old nephew. How else would you describe losing your husband, your job, and your money all at once? Desperate times call for desperate measures.
